We will only use the personal data gathered through this website as set out in this Policy. Below you will find information on how we use your personal data, for which purposes your personal data is used, with whom it is shared and what control and information rights you have.
  1. Informational use of the website
    When you visit our website for informational reasons, i.e. without registering for any of our provided services and without providing us with personal data in any other form, we automatically collect your IP address in order to provide you with our website and to ensure system stability and efficiency and to implement proper safeguards as to the security of our website and services.

    The personal data automatically collected is necessary to provide the website, Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. b GDPR as far as this is necessary to operate our website or Article 6 sec. 1 sent. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest) with regards to our use of technical information to enhance our systems, make your usage of the websites more convenient or ensure the security of our websites. This is based on our legitimate interest as the data used for these purposes are stored for a limited period and do not allow us to personally identify a user.

    Personal data that is collected is deleted automatically after the above mentioned purposes are fulfilled.
  2. Newsletter
    If you have given your consent or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, we will send you our newsletter to inform you about news on our services, events and other news around Accelerator Frankfurt.

    You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time by clicking on the corresponding link at the end of the e-mail or writing an e-mail to info@acceleratorfrankfurt.com.

  3. Cross border data transfers / transfer to third-parties
    Unless provided otherwise by this Policy, your personal data is only processed within the EU/EEA or a safe third country which is covered by an Adequacy Decision of the European Commission acc. to Art. 44 GDPR and your personal data will not be transferred to third-parties.

    To send out our newsletter we transmit certain personal data such as email addresses to a service provider (currently Mailchimp, operated by The Rocket Science Group, LLC d/b/a MailChimp, Georgia / USA). We have safeguards in place that conform to the requirements of Art. 44 GDPR, including Standard Contractual Clauses to cover the transfer of personal data outside the EEA (for example to Mailchimp in the US).
  4. Cookies
    We use cookies with our services. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you use our services. Cookies do no damage to your end device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

    Information is stored in the cookie that results in each case in connection with the specifically used terminal device. However, this does not mean that we immediately become aware of your identity.

    If you are interested to apply with us, you will be redirected to a specific page and requested to fill out our application form provided via Google Forms. When clicking on the “Apply now” button you will be forwarded to an external website provided by Google.

  8. No requirement to provide personal data
